Early Autism Program

While there is no known cure for autism, it’s important to remember that the research shows again and again that acting early can help your child make substantial gains in life.

Located in Western New York, The Summit Center’s Early Autism Program (EAP) is a unique early intervention program that aims to address the complex needs of children under the age of 5 with autism. Our goal is to prepare them for kindergarten.

To make it as easy as possible for you and your family, we work with you and your child directly in your home or daycare setting. After an initial consultation, our teacher will work with your child in a relaxed, one-on-one setting of your choice.

Our teachers use the principles of applied behavior analysis, which is commonly referred to as ABA. ABA is an evidence-based and scientific approach to behavior and learning, primarily focused on improving significant behaviors in your child’s life, such as being able to play, socialize, independently help themselves, and perhaps most importantly, communicate!

Not only do we work with your child, we believe your involvement is essential to your child’s progress. Family training and consultation services are provided to each family when your child is approved for our program.
