Community Habilitation
If an individual wishes to be more independent in their home or community, the Summit Center can help.
Our Community Habilitation program provides training in independence and daily living skills for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A specially trained provider will be available to work specifically with the person to develop a plan based on that person’s identified goals. Some examples of skills that may be worked on include purchasing items at a local store, increasing positive social skills, safety awareness and more.
